Step 1: Start with the wide end of the tie on your right side, and the narrow end on your left side. The tip of the narrow end should sit just above your beltline.
Step 2: Cross the wide end over the narrow end, forming an X.
Step 3: Bring the wide end behind the narrow end, from right to left.
Step 4: Pull the wide end up and over the X, passing it horizontally from left to right.
Step 5: Now, bring the wide end behind the narrow end again, this time from left to right.
Step 6: Bring the wide end upwards, tucking it through the loop around your neck. This will form the front knot of the tie.
Step 7: Hold the narrow end with one hand and slide the front knot upwards with the other hand, tightening the tie until it feels comfortable and looks neat.
