The death of British actor Julian Sands, best known for his parts in the horror film "Warlock" and the 1985 costume drama "A Room With a View," has been confirmed.

He went missing months earlier while trekking in the San Gabriel Mountains south of Los Angeles and was later discovered dead.

Julian Sands' Age was 65. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Coroner Department confirmed the news on Tuesday. Investigation continues.

The Fontana Sheriff's Station was phoned on June 24, 2023, at around 10 a.m. by hikers who had found human remains in the Mt. Baldy area.

The department claimed in a statement. The 65-year-old North Hollywood resident Julian Sands was subsequently "positively identified" by the coroner.

Sands was last spotted on Mt. Baldy on January 13, one of many sites hit by strong snow and wind storms during an unusually rainy winter.

Due to hazardous weather and the potential of an avalanche, search and rescue crews were forced to withdraw the rescue mission.

"We continue to hold Julian in our hearts with bright memories of him as a wonderful father, husband, and collaborative performer," the actor's family wrote.

He is most recognised for his breakthrough performance as George Emerson in "A Room with a View" and his Oscar-winning performance in "The Killing Fields."

Sands goes on to study at London's Central School of Speech and Drama. Over the course of his career, he appeared in over 150 productions.
