The American music industry is currently depressed as they learnt the fact that ‘You Can Call Me AI’ fame singer-songwriter Paul Simon might not be able to tour ever again.

The 81-years-old musician earlier had a conversation with the British media house The Times, wherein he revealed that he has started experimenting hearing loss in one of his ear.

Simon heard saying that “Quite suddenly, I lost most of the hearing in my left ear, and nobody has an explanation for it,” before adding “So everything became more difficult.”

The 16 times Grammy winner revealed that he begins to feel hearing loss in his left ear during recording his recent-launched album, Seven Psalms.

For those unversed, the songwriter has launched 33-minute, 7-movement all acoustic collection titled Seven Psalms on May 19. It was the follow up to his 2018s release ‘Blue Light.’

The 15th solo studio album of Simon which was released under the banners of Owl Records and Legacy Recordings is intended to be listened to as an extended piece.

In the very same interview he also revealed about his experience with Covid-19 as he stated that how the disease has left him “physically frail.”

In addition to it, the legendary singer is currently concerned about whether performing live will be possibility for him or not.

Although he also stressed that it’s not a bad thing for him as he consider there are several other things due to which he doesn’t want to perform live anymore.
