Netflix Update is Here! Finally after a long wait, the streaming giant Netflix has dropped the trailer of the much-awaited documentary Prince Harry & Meghan.
At the time of writing this article, the trailer of the documentary which was uploaded on December 1, 2022 has received over 180K views and 5.1K likes within the 4 hours of its release.
The trailer of the series has provided us a glimpse of the conversation of the famous royal couple as they revealed the story about why they stepped down from their duties.
In the black and white trailer of the docu-series, Prince Harry seemed to be saying, “No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors. I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”
On the other hand, at the end of the trailer which showcased a number of pictures of the couple, Meghan stated, “When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”
Release Date of Harry & Meghan
For those who are curious to know the premiere date of Netflix’s much-anticipated docu-series, let us tell you, although, the streaming giant is yet to determine a release date of the series.
However, it is expected that the series which is surely going to spill some royal tea will make its debut on or before January 10, 2023, which is the day of Prince Harry’s much-awaited auto-biography titled ‘Spare.’
Meanwhile, a close friend and biographer of the royal couple, Omid Scobie, took to his Twitter and revealed the release date of the series.
As per the statement written by Scobie, the series will hit our screens on upcoming Thursday, December 8. He also revealed that the story will reveal “the other side of their love story and the challenges they faced.”
Director of Docu-Series
Let us remind you once again, the docu-series of the royal couple is a 6 parts series which is directed by Oscar nominated director Liz Garbus.
The 1 minute 12 seconds trailer began with some beautiful and unseen pictures of the couple from their journey from being the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to moving their family to the United States leaving their royal status and responsibilities behind.
The pictures in the trailer also include some of their moments from their Trip to Africa, Meghan’s pregnancy time among many more.

In one of the parts, the trailer-cum-teaser of the series showed us a moment of Suits alum wiping their tears away with a tense background track at the 2020 Commonwealth Games which was the last event attended by the couple before stepping back.
In an earlier report of Variety, the Duchess expressed his working with the director for the docu-series in one of the cover stories in October, as he stated, “It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story.
