A popular American television soap opera ‘General Hospital’ fame star Jacklyn Zeman left us for her heavenly abode. The actress died at the age of 70.
The tragic news was announced by the show’s executive producer Frank Valentini, who took to his official Twitter handle to pay the condolences. Frank penned down “On behalf of our @GeneralHospital family, I am heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved @JackieZeman.”
He further added that, “Just like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, she was a bright light and true professional that brought so much positive energy with her to work.”

Who was Jacklyn Zeman?
For those who are unfamiliar with Jacklyn Zeman, let us tell you, the actress was born on March 6, 1953, in Englewood, New Jersey, U.S. The actress was born in a Jewish descent’ family. Her mother was a Magazine Supervisor while her father was a Systems Engineer.
When Jacklyn was still a teenager, she went to New York University to study dance on a scholarship. Although the actress came into lime-light for her role as Nurse Spencer in the ‘General Hospital’.
The actress first joined the show in the year of 1977 and ever since then she has appeared in more than 800 episodes while working for the soap opera for over 45 years as Bobbie Spencer. She even bagged a Daytime Emmy nomination in the category of ‘Outstanding Lead Actress.’
