As itās May Day fans of Star Wars Movies have flooded the social media platforms with their annual tradition. For those unversed, the fans of Star Wars took out to social media and share their love for the franchise on the occasion of May 4th while using hashtags like #MayThe4thBeWithYou and #StarWarsDay.
If youāre not familiar what we are talking about, let us make it clear, May 4th has become an unofficial holiday for Star Wars fans around the world, with many celebrating by re-watching their favorite films, dressing up as their favorite characters, hosting Star Wars-themed parties, and sharing Star Wars-related content on social media.
Star Wars Movies Shared Video
While the holiday is not officially recognized by Lucas film or Disney, the companies behind the Star Wars franchise, have acknowledged the day in the past with special promotions, events, and social media posts.
In addition, this year as well, the official Twitter handle of Star Wars took to their account and shared a clip of one minute captioning it as āMay the Force be with you. All these Star Wars movies, series, and more, now streaming on @DisneyPlus. #MayThe4thBeWithYou.ā So far, the video has received 19.5k likes, 908K views and over 6,445 retweets.
The official handle of the franchise dropped the video showing us the journey till now while including glimpses of several of our favorite series including the animated series as well.
Meanwhile, thousands of fans flooded the Twitter while sharing memes, quotes, artwork, and photos of themselves dolled up as their favorite characters. Itās a great way for fans to connect with each other and share their passion for the Star Wars universe.
One such fan took to Twitter and penned āHappy #StarWarsDay. Whilst I patiently wait for my @LEGO_Group #StarWars treats to arriveā¦hereās a #Throwback to @SW_Celebration where we all contributed to this epic build. Pretty sure these guys were fed up of me by the end of the four days too!ā

Sonyās Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro
To coincide with the release of Star Wars: Battlefront II in November 2017, Sony released a limited edition version of the PlayStation 4 Pro console that was themed around the Star Wars universe.
The console featured the symbols of the Empire and the Rebellion on its casing, with the Imperial symbol on the front and the Rebel Alliance symbol on the back.
It also included the symbol of Inferno Squad, the elite Imperial force featured in the game, on the side of the console. The limited edition bundle also included a matching DualShock 4 controller with the Star Wars logo, as well as a physical copy of the Star Wars Battlefront II game in the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition.
The Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition included bonus in-game content such as upgraded versions of all four trooper classes, instant access to the hero characters from the original trilogy, and exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi-themed outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey.
Boseā Wireless Headphones
Followed by Sony, to celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in December 2019, Bose released a special limited edition version of their popular QuietComfort 35 II wireless headphones with a Star Wars-themed design.
The headphones kept all the same features and technology as the standard QuietComfort 35 II headphones, but featured a new look inspired by the Star Wars universe. The limited edition headphones featured a two-tone design with black and red colors inspired by the Sith, one of the major factions in the Star Wars universe.
The headphones also included a Star Wars logo on the ear cups and came with a specially designed carrying case featuring the Star Wars logo and design elements from the film. The limited edition headphones were a great option for Star Wars Movies fans who wanted to show their love for the franchise while enjoying high-quality audio performance.
